Palace of the Gifted Vulture, The
a.k.a. Ling2 Jiu4 Gong1 灵鹫宫.
A seemingly powerful organisation that sent the Divine Farmers' Society to take over the Palace of the Lake of Swords, in order to investigate the existence of the Boundless Jade Wall (Chapter 1). Members who were known as 'Holy Emissaries' (sheng4 shi3 圣使) wore bright blue cloaks that had the embroidered head of a menacing black vulture on the front. These emissaries were usually demanding and aggressive; the more kindly or polite they were, the more angry they would actually be (Chapter 3).
Populated entirely by women (Chapter 5), who believed that all the men under the sun could not be depended upon (3rd edition only).
Members included:
- Holy Emissary Fu 符圣使 - an emissary who was dressed in a green cape; appeared to rank higher than the blue-cloaked emissaries. Thought to be kinder to The Boundless Cave than the Society of Divine Farmers (Chapter 5).
